Our Youth Ministry serves kids in grades 6 through 12. We believe these
young people need a safe place to be, Christian friends and Christian adults
to lead them as they grow in biblical knowledge and faith. We seek to guide
them in learning to apply God’s Word to their lives and what it means to be a
Christ Follower.
Our Youth Sunday School class meets after the Worship service, focusing on
Bible Study that is relevant to preteens and teens.
Our Youth Group is called “Fusion” and meets as a whole group on Sunday
nights, 6:00 – 8:00 pm. During this time, creative Bible study focuses on the
issues youth face living as Christians in this world and games help build
relationships. Sometimes special speakers are invited.
Other Fusion activities include:
- Weekly Girls’ Craft Group – Wednesday nights during the school year
- Occasional Boys Night Activities
- Ministry Outreach projects, including helping with Children’s events in
the church - Discipleship Class for youth considering Baptism
- Winter Jam
- Special Fun Events
- Our Youth are encouraged to attend Summer Church Camp at Lake
Springfield Baptist Camp.
